In 1995, Tom founded Atlantic Pacific Equipment in Atlanta. AT-PAC started out buying and selling scaffolding, learning job by job what industrial crews actually needed. Over time, the business earned its way from an equipment dealer to manufacturer and distributor, engineering its own Ringlock scaffold system from Atlanta.
In 2011, Jeff Davis founded Global Site Solutions as AT-PAC's Major Projects Division, working alongside longtime client Bechtel on major industrial construction projects. By 2014, GSS had built its own scaffold estimating and management capability, letting AT-PAC contract directly with EPC firms. GSS remains an AT-PAC company today.
The business followed its customers. From the US and Canada, AT-PAC pushed into South America, the UK and mainland Europe, Australia, and South Africa, and stood up manufacturing and distribution in China and India. A domestic scaffolding supplier had become a global company.
In 2022, Doka, the Austrian formwork leader, acquired a majority stake in At-Pac after more than twenty-five years of family ownership. The way of operating never changed: take care of the crews, keep your word, and let the work and execution speak for themselves. Davis Family Office carries that same discipline into everything we own today.
